When Madonna Frankel of Lake in the Hills woke one morning with a terrible earache and dizziness, she didn’t have much time to care for herself. As the 45-year-old special needs teacher drove her son to football practice, she passed a sign that said Centegra Immediate Care – Huntley was now open.
Madonna made it safely back home and asked her 16-year-old daughter to drive her to the Centegra facility at the intersection of Haligus and Algonquin Roads. She didn’t have to go far, and was quickly diagnosed with an inner ear infection by Larry Wellendorf, M.D. She left with a prescription and peace of mind that she would feel better soon.
Whether she’s working at Chesak Elementary School or at home with her own children, Madonna says she’ll be back to Centegra Immediate Care.
“This place is a godsend,” she said. “Everyone is so nice. This is so convenient, and I felt very important. I had a great experience.”
